Ep. 4 - 115 Things To Do In Your First 90 Days

When you're first getting started in real estate, it can be difficult to know exactly what you should be doing. In this episode, Kenny is off to the races sharing 115 secrets to getting started in a successful career in real estate.

Hello my friends, Kenny Stephens here and welcome to Rookie Real Estate, where your road to success begins right here, and right now!

Whether you are looking to transition from your day-job to your dream-job or you are on the road to your first 50 transactions…..

Success is in the details my friends and we are going to unpack the fundamental principles required for you to thrive!  Are you ready? Let’s do this!

Alright my friends, we are diving in DEEP today.  NOBODY is giving you what I’m about to share with you today.  For some reason, podcast want to cut up all the good content into about 15 episodes….. Keep you coming back for more!  I want you coming back each Monday but in the meantime I want you to get some WORK DONE! I’m sharing with you over 100 things you’ve got to do in your first 90 days.  Itemized checklist. Now, don’t panic, if you are driving down the road, don’t wreck your car….. I’ll post this list on RookieRealEstate.com for you to download later. FREE!!!  Guys, I’m serious about your success and I want YOU to be serious about your success also! NO EXCUSES!

If you are a Rookie and haven’t transitioned or launched yet, that’s perfect!  Here is everything you need to get done in the first 90 days….. BUT LISTEN-----

If you HAVE transitioned, Do Not use this list as an excuse for not selling Real Estate or making your calls…. “I’m not ready yet, I’ve not gotten my list done”  NO! This list is expanded over 90 Days for a reason and isn’t in any particular order. You and your Broker can prioritize this list together(actually, your going to blow your broker’s mind if you show up with this 90 day list)

If you are “on the road to your first 50 transactions”, I’m almost certain you don’t have this entire list done and it may be the single most important “to-do” list you’ve ever received.

I’m not going to be able to break each one down in detail…. Although, I will make a couple point about a few of them.

My last point before we dive in:  You should NEVER wake up as a Real Estate Professional and not know what needs to be done that day.  NEVER! Here’s your list, get it done!

Here we go:

Hopfully by now you’ve listened to my interview with Jim Youngblood.  One of the reasons he won the Rookie of the Year Award with our company, is that he got this list done FAST.  You heard him say, I would work till the wee hours of the morning….. Getting my list done. He was talking about this list.

Rookie Real Estate is produced and edited by Scott Parker. All of the content is written by me, your host, Kenny Stephens.

Rookie Real Estate is powered by DeSelms Real Estate in Franklin, TN.  I say that with this in mind. The vision of DeSelms Real Estate is to be an empowering partner, bringing agents, clients and communities home, simply put… we bring you home.

This podcast is not designed to recruit agents, but it does align with our vision.  We want to be an empowering partner to bring agents home. My dream for the content is that it can be used by any brokerage, any agent and the vast communitie of those who have dreamed of a career in real estate.  I want to educate those on the road to their first 50 transactions and I want to help ensure those who transition from their day job to their dream job, succeed in that process…. If at all possible.

Until next time my friends, Better Your Best!
